What's On

Tasmania has something for just about everyone, whatever time of year you plan to visit.

Events are held all year round with some of the more popular being the world-renowned Sydney to Hobart yacht race, the car touring event Targa Tasmania as well as major food-based festivals such as The Taste Festival in Hobart and Festivale in Launceston.


WINTER FESTIVAL 2010

TASMANIAN TRAVEL AND LEISURE EXPO 2010
We invite you to join us as we promote some of the best kept secrets Tasmania has to offer.
There will be many interactive stalls and great prizes to be won.
The Tasmanian Travel and Leisure Expo will be held in Hobart's City Hall, on the 11th and 12th September 2010 from 11am - 5pm.

Cinema buffs will find plenty of entertainment at Village Cinemas with all the major releases, while the State Cinema specialises in art-house and foreign films in a delightful, heritage-listed building.

Australia's oldest working theatre, the Theatre Royal, offers tours as well as a regular program of comedy, music and drama.
